9/30/11: Investigation of Planned Parenthood Pushed in Congress

Congressional Democrats are objecting to a proposed investigation of Planned Parenthood over its alleged criminal activity.

Representative Cliff Stearns, chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Investigations, recently wrote to Planned Parenthood asking the abortion giant to release information related to its operating procedures when dealing with underage girls who are victims of statutory rape, as well as extensive documentation regarding the abortion giant’s use of taxpayer dollars.

Democrats call the request “extraordinarily broad and burdensome” and characterize the request as a “Republican vendetta.”
