Politicians Who Enable Planned Parenthood Are Participants in Murder
Congressional Democrats are objecting to a proposed investigation of Planned Parenthood over its alleged criminal activity.
Representative Cliff Stearns, the Florida congressman who is the chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Investigations, recently wrote to Planned Parenthood’s president, Cecile Richards. In the letter, Rep. Stearns asked Richards to release information related to Planned Parenthood’s operating procedures when dealing with underage girls who are victims of statutory rape, as well as extensive documentation regarding the abortion giant’s use of taxpayer dollars.
Of course, this request has the pro-abortion politicians in Congress in a tizzy. Representatives Henry Waxman of California and Diana DeGette of Colorado, both Democrats, have since written a letter criticizing Congressman Stearn’s actions as “extraordinarily broad and burdensome.” Their letter also characterizes the request as a “Republican vendetta.”
The pro-abortion crowd’s accusations and criticism aren’t surprising. All you have to do is follow the money. Planned Parenthood, the abortion giant who received many millions of taxpayer dollars last year, spent over a million dollars to elect pro-abortion politicians in the last election cycle.
Now that Planned Parenthood’s is under extreme scrutiny after a series of damning allegations, those same pro-abortion politicians are now rushing to its defense, all while making threats and wild accusations against pro-lifers.
It’s a sick symbiotic relationship: Pro-abortion politicians seek to secure millions for Planned Parenthood, which in turn spends a fortune to keep its biggest supporters in political office. All the while, both parties are enabling and performing over 1 million murders each year, all on the taxpayer’s dime.
Make no mistake: Those politicians who spend their careers fighting to ensure that women have the ability to murder their unborn children are just as responsible for the bloodguilt of America’s abortion holocaust as those evil men and women who actually perform abortions.
The Bible makes clear in Romans 13 that governments are charged with the tasks of promoting good and restricting evil. Evil is hardly personified more clearly than in the malevolent practices of Planned Parenthood. Though Planned Parenthood’s mantra alludes to their concern for women and girls, they have shown they are willing to break federal and state laws in order to cover up and enable horrendous abuse of women and girls, not to mention their unabashed willingness to murder the unborn children of these abused girls.
The US government MUST fulfill its God-given duty to restrict murder, an evil that grieves and angers God. Any government that does nothing to stop the slaughter of the most innocent of its citizens can hardly be called just. Pray for the United States and those in leadership. Beg God to begin a work of repentance in their hearts and minds and cause them to turn away from enabling this great evil.
