US House Defunds Planned Parenthood

Praise God! The US House of Representatives has voted to defund Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider. The debate over the issue in the House was often tense and inflammatory, with several pro-abortion Democrats claiming the vote was a “war on women.” That couldn’t be more untrue.

The vote to defund Planned Parenthood, an organization that has murdered countless millions in its 95-year existence, was not a war on women…

…it was a long-needed truce with the unborn.

For too long, Planned Parenthood has received taxpayer dollars to fund their operations. For too long, they’ve waged their own war on unborn women. For too long, pro-life taxpayers have anguished over the knowledge that their money was being used to prop up such a vile and murderous organization.

Today’s vote was the important first step in the fight to free the American taxpayer from Planned Parenthood’s chains.
