Obama Decision May Force ‘Gay’ Marriage on All 50 States

Today, the Obama administration revealed it would no longer defend as constitutional the Defense of Marriage Act, which was passed in 1996 in order to allow states to determine their own policies on homosexual “marriage.” Since President Clinton signed DOMA into law, 30 states have passed versions of marriage amendments. But now all of them are in jeopardy.

DOMA made clear that no state needed to accept the definition of marriage imposed by any other state. In other words, Mississippi doesn’t have to recognize homosexual “marriage” just because Massachusetts does. But if DOMA is struck down by a court, it may result in the subsequent imposition of homosexual marriage on all 50 states.

Last month, FPN predicted that President Obama would reverse his position against homosexual “marriage” in the coming year or two. The prediction is based on several public statements he has made referring to a personal “struggle” over theissue and the “grappling” he has experienced in his mind. This is the next step in his “evolution,” and it’s a bad thing.

President Obama’s decision to abandon DOMA marks a sad day in American history. He has shown us where his allegiance truly lies by forsaking his sworn oath to uphold the law of the land in order to cast his lot with homosexual activists who seek to undermine and destroy the God-ordained institution of marriage.

The time has come for pro-family leaders in Congress to introduce a constitutional amendment designed to establish and protect marriage between one man and one woman as the only legal union recognized by the United States of America.

As a nation, we would do well to heed the words of the prophet Isaiah, who warned of the destruction coming upon those who call evil good and good evil. God created marriage, Jesus affirmed it, and America would do well to honor it.

Gov’t drops defense of anti-gay marriage law
Washington Post

“The Obama administration said Wednesday that it will no longer defend the federal law that bans the recognition of same-sex marriage because it considers the legislation unconstitutional, a sudden and rare reversal.” .. ”

Some opponents of same-sex marriage said the administration’s decision could end up helping to preserve the law in court.

“The previous efforts of the Obama administration and DOJ to defend the law were so inadequate as to raise the suspicion that the Justice Department was deliberately throwing the case,” said Robert George, a political science professor at Princeton University who opposes same-sex marriage”

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God (NKJV)
