Facebook Censors Pro-Life Pictures, Allows Abortion Instructions

The world’s largest social media empire is showing its true colors on the abortion issue. Facebook has begun censoring pro-life images that depict the brutal aftermath of abortion. Yet, in a shocking display of a double-standard, it allows pro-abortion groups to post do-it-yourself instructions to kill a child in the womb.

The image being censored is a version of a popular Internet meme that has exploded throughout the web. If you’re on Facebook, you’ve probably seen friends post photos from the “What I Do” meme, an often light-hearted look at how various people perceive certain occupations. It didn’t take long for some industrious pro-lifer to create a version about abortionists, wherein the final frame shows the mutilated and bloodied corpse of a tiny baby. The caption underneath reads “What I Actually Do.”

Of course, this particular version of the popular meme was never supposed to be funny, but was rather intended as a shock to modern pro-abortion sensibilities. Naturally, the image received thousands of “likes” and shares on Facebook within a short amount of time. However, Facebook has decided to censor the image and has demanded that anyone sharing the image remove it.

Meanwhile, Facebook has received attention in recent days for its refusal to remove a post by an abortion doctor wherein the steps for a do-it-yourself chemical abortion are given. The company initially censored the post, but has since apologized and restored the instructions.

Facebook is allowing pro-abortion groups to show young girls how to induce an abortion for themselves, yet it won’t allow those same girls to see the results of an abortion. The hypocrisy is disgusting and dangerous. It’s yet another example of the tight stranglehold pro-abortion forces have on almost every aspect of the media.

TAKE ACTION:

Ephesians 5:11 states, “Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.” (NKJV) People should see the brutal aftermath of this injustice, and you can help:

  1. Post the prolife “What I Do” image on your Facebook wall.
  2. Respectfully urge Facebook to stop censoring the truth about the destruction of innocent human life here: https://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=ui_other
