Surgical Abortion Rates Decrease, Yet Chemical Abortion Rate Could Be Rising
A research organization has just released its new study indicating that teen pregnancy and abortion rates are at a record low.
Of course, this research organization known as The Guttmacher Institute is funded by Planned Parenthood and is recognized by pro-lifers as little more than a mouthpiece for Planned Parenthood’s murderous activities.
Just because reported pregnancy rates and surgical abortion rates are lower than ever doesn’t mean women aren’t actually getting pregnant and it certainly doesn’t mean that chemical abortion statistics are falling.
Even The Guttmacher Institute’s own research shows that chemical birth control usage has increased greatly over the last several years. While there may actually be a lower rate of surgical abortions, it DOES NOT necessarily mean that there are fewer abortions occurring.
It’s quite possible that while surgical abortions have declined over the past twenty years, it’s merely a result of an increase in chemical birth control usage, a method which often leads to chemical abortions.

Teen pregnancy, abortion rates at record low, study says
Birth and abortion rates among U.S. teens fell to record lows in 2008 as increased use of contraceptives sent the overall teen pregnancy rate to its lowest level since at least 1972, a study showed on Wednesday.
But disparities among racial and ethnic groups continued to persist, with black and Hispanic teens experiencing pregnancy and abortion rates two to four times higher than their white peers, the Guttmacher Institute, the nonprofit sexual health research group that conducted the analysis, said.
Psalm 139:13-16
For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.(NKJV)
