8/2/11: New Abortion Battle Brews Near Nation’s Capitol

A nondescript office park 30 miles north of central Washington, D. C. is becoming a battleground in the nationwide conflict. At the center of the battle is the infamous late term abortionist LeRoy Carhart. He recently started performing abortions in the office park.

On Saturday night, pro life activists launched Summer of Mercy 2.0. Organizers played a video of a Philadelphia woman who recounted a trip to the clinic three months ago, when she was nearly six months pregnant. She was planning to have an abortion, but was talked out of it by abortion foes outside the clinic. In the video the woman says “I just thank God that I had a healthy daughter,” while holding her week-old Kayden.
At the same time pro abortionists are kicking off their Summer Celebration of Choice, to support the clinic.
