1/26/12: Atheist Event Planned at Ft. Bragg

Remember those efforts by atheist groups to silence Christians at the nation’s military academies and bases? Here’s what they’ve planned next. The band Aiden will be playing at the atheist festival “Rock Beyond Belief at Fort Bragg in March. The band, known for its God mocking lyrics, will be the lead-in act to noted atheist Richard Dawkins, the main attraction at the concert.

Justin Griffith, the soldier in charge of Rock Beyond Belief says they’re putting on the event to counter the recent Rock the Fort, an event back in September at Fort Bragg that was co-sponsored by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. Fort Bragg did not sponsor that event nor will it contribute to Rock Beyond Belief in March. It remained silent on both occasions.
