1/25/12: Obama Says Abortion Helps Daughters “Fulfill Their Dreams”

Last Sunday was the 39th anniversary of the infamous Roe vs. Wade decision. As other presidents have done, President Obama issued a statement on the anniversary expressing his opinion on abortion. In his statement, President Obama took an unapologetically pro-abortion approach saying abortion “allows our daughters” to “fulfill their dreams.” The Family Policy Network points out the sad irony that millions of America’s daughters will never see the light of day, much less have the “same rights, freedoms, and opportunities” thanks to abortion. And added, “that such an irony goes unnoticed by the president is simply baffling.”

Obama also asserted that murder is a “private family matter” and even a “fundamental constitutional right.” FPN calls that claim “audacious and immoral.”
