Another study is out showing a relationship between abortion and breast cancer. This one out of Armenia finds a nearly three-fold increased breast cancer risk for women who have undergone one induced abortion.
The study, “Influence of Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 and Prolonged Estrogen Exposure on Risk of Breast Cancer Among Women in Armenia,” was led by researchers at the Department of Public Health at the American University of Armenia and included data from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing.
It’s the latest in a long line of research that finds abortion leads to a higher risk for breast cancer. Dr. Joel Brind, writing in National Right to Life News, explains that since 1957, 51 of 68 studies have reported a connection.
