9/29/11: Nat Geo Recognizes Personhood of Preborn

Podcast: Download (Duration: 1:00 — 1.4MB)

Here’s a sentence you would not expect to read on the National Geographic website; “Before its first breath, a human baby has been through an incredible transformation from a single cell to a complex self-sustaining organism.”

That’s the opening sentence to a remarkable new short video on National Geographic’s website featuring some amazing 4-D ultrasound footage of the developing child.

Thanks to 4-D ultrasound, a tool that National Geographic likens to the Hubble Space Telescope for obstetricians, this “area of exploration” regarding fetal development has been “revolutionized,” giving us the ability to “open a window on the womb and see babies growing before our eyes.”

What we see are clear videos of children in the womb yawning, rubbing their noses, and even opening their eyes!
