8/8/11: Administration Fights Genocide but Ignores It at Home

The Obama administration says it is strengthening the United States’ efforts to stop genocide around the world. Last week the president announced the creation of an Atrocities Prevention Board that will develop strategies to ensure that the U.S. doesn’t respond to mass atrocities and genocide too late.

But the Family Policy Network says at the same time the administration is showing apathy toward another kind of genocide, the plight of the unborn in America.

Just days before the Obama administration’s declaration that it will be redoubling its efforts to respond to genocide around the world, it announced that it would be forcing insurance companies in America to pay for abortion-inducing birth control, which will further enable the destruction of human lives via chemical abortions.
