Homosexual Activists Get Federal Grant to Indoctrinate Schoolchildren
According to the Windy City Times, the United States federal government has just granted $285,000 in taxpayer money to the Gay-Straight Alliance Network (GSA Network) to initiate their so-called “Safe & Healthy LGBT Youth Project” in schools across the country.
The Windy City Times, a Chicago-area newspaper for homosexual activists, lauded the federal government’s decision to grant the money through the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). The news comes on the heels of a newly-released study (from the CDC!) showing that homosexual teens are more likely to behave dangerously. A spokeswoman for the GSA Network admits: “Research shows that LGBT youth remain at substantially greater risk for HIV/AIDS, other STDS, and unintended pregnancy.” No doubt, this means American tax dollars will be used to teach homosexual students how to practice “safe sex.”
Young minds are best exploited by only one point of view, which is why homosexual activists desperately try to start pro-homosexual clubs and programs in America’s public schools. Luring kids into these GSA clubs preys upon their emotional frailties and subjects them to the false notion that the source and solution for their angst is their “sexual orientation.” For parents with children struggling with these desires, the last thing their child needs is a homosexual activist pushing them toward an “alternative” lifestyle.
Giving homosexual activists the uncensored opportunity to convince our kids of the “virtues” of a deviant lifestyle that has sent millions to an early grave would be irresponsible and inexcusable. At the after-school GSA meeting, schoolchildren will not hear that homosexual sex is unnatural and deadly. They will not hear the full truth about how this contributes to skyrocketing rates of dangerous diseases like HPV, anal cancer, hepatitis, and even higher occurrences of the deadly HIV/AIDS virus in homosexual men.
These clubs encourage young students to be experimental with their sexuality while touting the myth of “safe” sex. The fact is, homosexual sex (whether “protected” or not) is inherently deadly. An Oxford University study has shown that HALF of those who start engaging in homosexual behavior by the age of 20 will die before the age of 65. Sad irony lies in the opposition’s argument that denying homosexual activists unfettered access to impressionable schoolchildren will somehow hurt the “social development” of those kids. The fact that homosexual activists want to teach young children to be “affirming” and “tolerant” of a lifestyle that has hurt and killed so many people is beyond plain logic and reason.
While it is unconscionable that American tax dollars are being used to fund the encouragement of a deadly behavior like homosexuality, the most compelling reason for opposition to such a federal grant is the fact that homosexual behavior is called an abomination by God; He abhors it (Lev. 18:22; 20:13). The Apostle Paul clearly condemns the behavior as well, listing unrepentant homosexuality among things that will prevent someone from going to heaven (I Cor. 6:9-10). Homosexuality is a direct and deliberate inversion of God’s intention for human sexuality. As such, Romans 1 pronounces judgment on those who “exchange the truth of God for a lie.”

The truth is that all people are sinners in God’s eyes. The Word of God says that there is none righteous, not even one person (Romans 3:10). It goes on to say that ALL humans have sinned and that ALL humans fall short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23). But Scripture also promises that if anyone is in Christ he is a new creature, old things pass away and all things become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).
The only hope for sinners (homosexual and heterosexual alike) is faith in Jesus Christ: “All who call on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13). God’s love is not reserved for people who have always had everything “straight.” Instead, God desires to have a relationship with those who have gone astray.
