Congressional Liberals Want to Defund Abstinence Education

Congressional liberals are still fuming over pro-life efforts to defund abortion giant Planned Parenthood. Now they’re acting like vindictive children, introducing a bill to defund abstinence education in schools.

A recent study found that increased access to birth control was accompanied by increased occurrences of abortions. So, as it turns out, Planned Parenthood’s efforts to distribute birth control are actually leading to more abortions, which means more profits for Planned Parenthood. No wonder so many want to defund the organization.

Unlike the false claims about the benefits of Planned Parenthood, abstinence-only education does work.

Liberals, who are in the back pocket of the abortion industry, are trying to defund abstinence education in retaliation for the pro-lifers’ publicly-supported campaign to strip Planned Parenthood of its taxpayer funding.
