FPN is working hard for you…
Dear Friend:
FPN and its staff work very hard to fulfill our non-profit mission of “informing Christians and confronting the culture on the moral issues of the day.“ Unfortunately, that mission keeps us very busy.
This year, we want to redouble our efforts to stand for Biblical, traditional, conservative values in the public square. Will you stand with us?

2012 Year-End Report:
Here are a few ways FPN accomplished its mission to “inform Christians and confront the culture on the important moral issues of the day” in 2012:
- Listeners to FPN’s daily radio updates were informed about important issues on over 200 radio stations throughout the nation. These one-minute updates are called “FPN Perspective,” and they provide listeners with timely information about matters of righteousness in public policy from across the country. - Internet users were educated about important moral issues by the thousands each month via daily updates to FPN’s website at familypolicy.net. Based on Internet tracking data, most visitors to the site are viewing FPN’s policy paper explaining how the the so-called “Morning-After Pill” often causes spontaneous abortions. That resource has been cited by Pharmacists for Life International and Liberty Counsel to help explain their opposition to the drug.
- While FPN continued its opposition to pro-homosexual public policy initiatives in 2012, it also continued its evangelistic outreach to homosexuals through its “Hope for Homosexuals” website. A number of requests were received for information about repentance and redemption from sexual immorality. Some of those inquiries were heartbreaking, given the way people often feel trapped in condemnation for such vile behavior.
Our Hope for Homosexuals site received feedback saying, “The way I see it, God created me who I am and loves me for who I am, but our pastor does not agree” and “I need help finding more proof that homosexuality is wrong” and ”I am not able to be with a man because my thoughts of my past relationship keep coming. Please pray that I can let these feelings go from my past and have God come into my heart.”
Responses like these indicate FPN’s outreach efforts help open the door to repentance from same-sex immorality. This ministry of light may be the most vital mission-related work FPN does each year.
Of course, FPN isn’t usually known for its outreach activities. Instead, it ordinarily gets headlines for confronting unrighteousness. While those activities are vital, they only represent half of the equation. It’s important that we be both the “salt” AND the “light” that Christ told His followers to be.
FPN has been very involved in fighting against the onslought of liberal measures in Washington, DC and around the nation. The issues we’re engaged in involve important matters like Christianity, defining the family, human life and Biblical morality.
We are grateful to God for the work FPN has been able do through the faithful support of friends like you throughout the nation. However, the economy continues to make paying expenses and compensating staff for their hard work very difficult. Our staff members often sacrifice personally and professionally to make a difference for truth in the public square. That’s why I’m inviting you to make a tax-deductible contribution in support of their efforts as we end 2012.
Please consider making a year-end contribution to FPN before midnight tonight. Your support today will help to establish a firm footing for us to begin 2013 strong.
If you are able to give $10 or $20, it will help more than you might think. However – – you may be able to give a tax-deductible contribution of $1,000, $5,000 or more. If so, it is certainly merited and needed.
Whatever you give, please know every gift and every giver is appreciated. We appreciate your involvement, even if you’re unable to give financially at all.
Please note FPN does not receive government assistance in meeting its financial obligations. It’s only by your generosity that FPN has been able to operate, and it’s only through your generosity we will live up to our obligations in 2013.
Thank you in advance for giving before midnight tonight. May God grant you and your family a happy and prosperous New Year!
Sincerely,
Joe Glover, President
Family Policy Network
