SUBWAY Demands Neutrality, But Forces Homosexual Agenda on Chain

The world’s largest “sub” sandwich restaurant chain is recruiting sexually-depraved employees to appease an angry homosexual who complained when one store’s owner supported the California marriage amendment.

When a virulent homosexual activist in Washington, D.C. named Mike Rogers learned a Subway store in California had given money to defend traditional marriage, he demanded Subway’s parent company take the following steps:

  1. Denounce the franchisee’s gift to the pro-marriage campaign
  2. Donate an equal amount of money to a pro-homosexual group fighting pro-family initiatives like California’s marriage amendment
  3. Immediately rewrite the company’s employment non-discrimination policy to include protections for homosexuals and other deviants like cross-dressers (a.k.a. “transgendered” people)

On his website, Rogers boasted about his threat to Subway by writing:

…we have a weapon far more powerful than the end of a gun. We have a handle, a handle on a spigot of money. Mess with the gays and watch the “pink wrath” slowly twist the spigot until they’re at the table begging for forgiveness.

Subway buckled.

But it’s the way the company buckled that defies logic. Here’s what they did…

Subway’s parent company, “Doctor’s Associates, Inc.” (DAI), sent an open letter to the pro-family franchise owner (and to the virulent homosexual activist), chastising the owner for making a “political statement” with the Subway brand.

DAI’s letter preached neutrality by stating, “…when you use the SUBWAY trademark it reflects on the entire SUBWAY brand.” The letter forbids the owner to “”¦use the Trademark in a manner that degrades, diminishes, or detracts from the goodwill of the business associated with the Trademark”

Then DAI made a HUGE, company-wide political statement of its own by altering the SUBWAY employment policy to recruit sexually-perverted employees – – including homosexuals and cross-dressers!

The hypocrisy of SUBWAY’s actions here is overwhelming. In the letter to the store owner, SUBWAY lambasted the franchisee for “degrading, diminishing, and detracting from the goodwill” of the international company by taking sides on a political matter:

Subway might be justified in asking franchise-owners to refrain from making politically-controversial contributions with trademark-related accounts. But, when the parent company capitulates to an angry homosexual activist by forcing the entire chain’s door open to new hires who engage in all kinds of sexual perversions is hardly an expression of neutrality in the culture wars.

Apparently, Subway has no problem using the company trademark to adopt a “political stance” for the entire chain. Worse yet, the political stance they’re taking is one that clearly “degrades, diminishes, and detracts” from Subway’s “goodwill” in the minds of millions of pro-family Americans.

Perhaps we’ll keep that in mind next time we’re hungry for a sandwich.
