9/26/11: Religious Leader Predicts Dire Consequences for Military
Podcast: Download (Duration: 1:00 — 1.4MB)
Dr. Richard Land of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission says if a Republican is elected president next year, military leaders will start telling the truth about the negative consequences of allowing homosexuals to openly serve in the military.
He called it a “sad day” for the men and women of the military when the new law took effect recently allowing homosexuals to openly serve in the military. He predicts the policy change will “seriously degrade unit morale” and lead to “a myriad of problems.”
Land also predicted that unless the policy is reversed, “significant numbers” of dedicated service members will be compelled to get out of the armed forces. He also expects chaplains endorsed will put their careers in danger if they express what the Bible says about homosexuality.
