RU 486 Claims the Lives of Two Million Babies
The Food and Drug Administration says the abortion drug RU 486 has claimed the lives of nearly two million unborn children in the United States since its approval at the end of the Clinton administration.
According to CDC reports, about 16.5 percent of the estimated 1.2 million abortions that take place annually in the United States involve RU 486.
In addition to the number of unborn children whose lives have been lost to the abortion drug, women have suffered as well, as a Planned Parenthood study admits at least one woman is seriously injured from the abortion pill daily.
The FDA released a report in 2006 that received widespread attention for showing more than 1,100 women had been subjected to “adverse effects” resulting from their taking the abortion drug.
