The Family Research Council is dismayed that a growing number of colleges and universities are offering classes on pornography.

NYU, Yale, Harvard, Columbia and Cal-Berkeley are among the schools now offering what has become known as “porn curriculum.” But Peter Sprigg of the Family Research Council warns that it is dangerous to expose students to such material.

He points out the schools’ “failure to understand that merely being exposed to pornography and watching it can have a harmful effect.” He says the schools are “deliberately putting young people at risk,” The FRC spokesman believes Covenant College in Georgia is on the right track by teaching the effects of pornography in an addictions class without bringing actual porn into the classroom.
