Forest, Virginia
Family Policy Network recently launched a new campaign called “Race for the Family” at a national stock car race in Martinsville, Virginia. The purpose of the campaign is to educate Anheuser-Busch customers on the company’s strategy to promote homosexuality for profit. (See www.gaybeer.com for proof.)

Joe Glover, President of the Virginia-based Family Policy Network quipped, “Of course, you’ll never see pro-homosexual beer advertisements in any mainstream publications. That’s because the marketing experts at Anheuser-Busch know most of their existing customers would object to the ploy, and many would stop purchasing their products or attending their amusement parks.” Glover says, “They don’t want their left hand to know what their right hand is doing.”

Family Policy Network plans to continue educating mainstream sports fans on Anheuser-Busch’s shameful new target marketing strategy of affirming destructive homosexual behavior for profit. The group is also encouraging others to join their campaign to educate as many people as possible.

The key to FPN’s efforts is educating customers of Anheuser-Busch because, as Glover says, “They hold the leverage needed to get the company to change its policies.” Many of the beer-giant’s customers are sports fans.

Here are some highlights from FPN’s campaign kickoff weekend in Martinsville, Virginia:

– Approximately 100,000 people at Martinsville Speedway saw FPN’s airplane banner flying directly over the track for a full hour before the green flag dropped. The banner read: “ANHEUSER-BUSCH: STOP PROMOTING HOMOSEXUALITY.”

– Thousands of brochures, which explained FPN’s position calling on Anheuser-Busch to stop promoting homosexuality for profit, were distributed to race fans before the event.

– Signs were placed on the highways leading to the Martinsville Speedway. They were also plastered throughout the areas around the track. The signs read, “BOYCOTT BUD, BUSCH, MICHELOB – THEY PROMOTE HOMOSEXUALITY – DO YOU? – WWW.GAYBEER.COM”

– News releases were sent to state and national media contacts, detailing a weekend press conference with Yvette Cantu (a former lesbian, now a Christian and engaged to be married), and Holt McCormick (a former homosexual who has experienced salvation and complete healing from his former lifestyle).

– Several newspapers and radio stations throughout the nation have featured news stories about the campaign.

Feedback from FPN’s website (www.gaybeer.com) indicates that many of Anheuser-Busch’s customers are appalled at their promotion of homosexuality. Nearly all who have expressed their opposition to the company’s pro-homosexual policies said they will tell many others to avoid their products, too.

Attached is a sampling of the messages FPN has received on its web site (www.gaybeer.com):

Well I tell you one thing. I have been drinking budweiser for around 20 years and I will not be buying it anymore. I think it is a disgrace that budweiser would stoop this low. I will not support it in no way.

As a life long Michelob drinker I will no longer buy it or any other Anheuser-Bush products. I will encourage friends and family to switch brands also. Keep up your good work.

Not only will I go out of my way to avoid all Anheuser-Busch products, but I will forward your information to as many as I can. Since AB is only interested in profit, I think that if the vast majority of its customers, who happily are not perverts, speak with their wallets, AB will listen.

Subject: Where Have Our Morals Gone?

I have been attending nascar races since 1990. I have never been so offended until now. I saw numerous signs, {www.gaybeer.com}, and went home to investigate. I am Roman Catholic and come from a warm and loving traditional family. I have a mother, father, sister, and brother. We have frequented numerous theme parks owned by Anheuser-Busch. From this day forward, I will not buy, frequent, or promote anything from this company. To think a company would put profits before the well being of children is unacceptable and amoral. I will give this information to as many people I know, with the hope that they will boycott this company for the disrespect it has shown to traditional families, as well as disrespect to Roman Catholics!
