Virginia’s Republican Governor Betrays Conservatives and Scripture
Homosexuality is a sin that will send you to hell [like all other sins], so why would you want to make an enemy out of scripture, or for that matter, its author — God himself — who’s said, ‘Woe unto those who call evil good and good evil (Isaiah 5:20),’”

Virginia Governor Protects Gays, Contradicts Scripture

Virginia’s governor is taking some wrath over banning bias against homosexuals.
Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli recently issued an opinion that state colleges and universities with anti-discrimination policies involving homosexuals erred in adopting them because only the legislature has that authority. Now, Republican Governor Bob McDonnell has issued an edict, declaring homosexuals will be protected.
Alexander Mason, policy analyst with the Family Policy Network, tells OneNewsNow that McDonnell is trying to make friends of his enemies by making enemies of his friends.
“Some of the friends he’s betrayed include Ken Cuccinelli himself. He’s a popular statewide elected attorney general who’s been warmly embraced by the grassroots, precisely because of his deep conservatism,” Mason notes. “[The governor has] also made an enemy of the grassroots. These are the conservative activists who have helped put McDonnell right where he is — in the governor’s mansion in Richmond.”
The policy analyst adds that grassroots voters do not want to see the governor creating special privileges for homosexuals, and that the governor is going against scripture.
“Homosexuality is a sin that will send you to hell [like all other sins], so why would you want to make an enemy out of scripture, or for that matter, its author — God himself — who’s said, ‘Woe unto those who call evil good and good evil (Isaiah 5:20),’” Mason wonders.
The legislature has declined several times to pass legislation providing those special protections.
