Sexual Sin Is Unlike Other Sins
One of the commonly-asked questions of FPN is why the organization seems to focus on opposition to sexual sin more than other sins like gluttony or greed. The answer is simple: According to Scripture, sexual sin (whether heterosexual or homosexual) is different from any other sin.
In I Corinthians 6:18, the Apostle Paul commands us to flee immorality, but he makes a startling statement about sexual sin. Paul writes that sexual immorality is a sin unlike other sins in that it is a sin against the body. Our bodies are created in the image of God, so any deviance from God’s ideal of sexual morality is in fact abuse of His image.
FPN opposes sexual immorality in the culture in order to offer the Gospel of Christ as the remedy for a sin-sick world. Governments and societies should not legitimize or endorse sexual activities Scripture casts in such a serious light.
