Roe Anniversary Events Planned

This month marks 40 years since the infamous Supreme Court decision, Roe v. Wade, legalized abortion on demand in the United States. Several events are planned across the nation to commemorate the ruling that has resulted in the deaths of over 54 million unborn children. This year, organizers for the annual “March for Life” in Washington, DC are predicting record-breaking crowds that are expected to outnumber the attendees for President Obama’s upcoming inauguration.

Additionally, a coalition of pro-life organizations have launched the “Remembering Roe” campaign, which is intended to inspire pro-life citizens to join together in a special day of prayer and reflection about abortion. The campaign website features historical information about the ruling and a forum for prayers for an end to abortion.
