When it comes to government spending on medical research, the money allocated to HIV/AIDS dwarfs all others. The National Institutes for Health spends more than $225,000 per death on HIV/AIDS research. Diabetes gets a mere $13,000, Alzheimer’s, just 6 thousand and heart and stroke problems, slightly more than $2000.

Pete LaBarbera of Americans for Truth about Homosexuality said, “If more Americans found out how hugely disproportionate government research dollars are allocated in favor of HIV/AIDS compared to other diseases, which affect far more people than AIDS, there would be outrage and demands for change on Capitol Hill.

LaBarbera blames the massive political power of America’s homosexual lobby for the illogical allocation.
